Clifton Mariner, Lancs is a massive 18 acre clay pit, full off all types of specimen fish. Day tickets and season tickets can be purchased on the bank at £2.50 per day or £5.00 for the 24 hour session. Alternatively you may buy a season ticket for a cracking price of £20.00. Disability access is sound however, the banks can be a bit of a nightmare when wet and I do advise people to be very careful especially if fishing alone. There are a variety of baits you can use on the water and all have been tried and tested, people tend to use particle baits such as tiger nuts, maze, maple peas and so on for the carp
