Lindholme Lakes - Big lake is a large 8.5 acre lake and is over 150yrs old. It is reputed to be the best Carp, Tench and Pike water in the North of England.
Depths range from 2ft on the Eastern side to 11ft. When I visited the place yesterday, it looks like more work is being done on the Southern and Eastern sides of the lake to make it more accessible. There are 60 pegs on this lake and there are some big fish in here. It was originally joined up with the Loco lake forming one big lake but this was split about 3 years ago to form the two lake we have today. It was rented by a Pike syndicate but you could still fish it during the day and to my knowledge the syndicate has now finished but there is a membership in place which allows you to fish it during the night..
